Full name Programmable Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer
Purpose Higher resolution but smaller swath ocean colour sensor than COCTS on same platform.
Short description There are 15 spectral bands at high (100m) spatial resolution and 90 bands at lower (200m) resolution. Channels at high resolution are in range 425 - 950 nm and at lower resolution in range 375-920 nm. More details on wavelengths when available.
